Privacy Notice
Salaries.ie provides public salary information using official CSO data. We aim to keep personal data collection to a minimum and to use privacy-invasive tools only where there is a clear operational reason.
Who controls this site
Salaries.ie is operated by Archaic Limited, a company registered in Ireland (Company No. 811858). Archaic Limited is responsible for deciding how website analytics and contact communications are used on this site. If you need to exercise privacy rights or have questions, contact hello@salaries.ie.

Legal basis
Where Google Analytics is used, our legal basis is consent. Analytics remains off until you opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie settings controls on the site.
Analytics provider
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how visitors navigate the site. Google Analytics is only loaded after you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner.
When enabled, Google may receive information such as pages viewed, browser details, device information, and approximate location derived from IP data. We do not use analytics for advertising or personalization.
We configure analytics with advertising-related signals disabled in the site script. You should also review your Google Analytics admin settings so they match this notice.
International transfers
Google may process analytics data on infrastructure outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on Google's current transfer mechanisms and contractual terms for the analytics setup we use.
Retention and minimisation
We aim to keep Google Analytics retention to the shortest practical period, disable unnecessary data sharing, and ensure that no names, emails, phone numbers, CV details, or other direct identifiers are sent into analytics events.
Your choices and rights
You can accept or reject analytics, and you can withdraw consent later via the cookie settings controls. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or complaint to a supervisory authority.
Cookies and local storage
We store your cookie preference in your browser so the site can remember whether analytics should stay on or off. See the Cookies page for more detail and to review or withdraw your analytics choice.
Recommended GA4 admin settings
The site is operated on the basis that the following GA4 settings are kept in place:
- Keep Google signals off unless you have a documented reason and matching disclosures.
- Disable or avoid any advertising or personalization features.
- Use the shortest practical data retention setting.
- Do not send PII in URLs, events, or custom dimensions.
